:) This is so... eycatching, probably because my eyes keep rotating one image so it will look like the other one, and than they are going to have a more simple rhythm. I love this work of yours.

defintily very visually pleasing. it plays with the extreme contrast between the negative and positive space...so economical. What I need to know is: what is your concept....you can't just pull this out because it looks nice...I need something more. It would be even better in paint.

I love it visually, but please elighten me as to what it means, even if you simpley did it because it's pretty...i do that too sometimes.

Thank you for your interest and comment.
My original idea for it came from discussions I had with some friends in my calculus class. I’m not much of a math person; I took the class simply because the graphing of infinite asymptotes amazes me. The very idea of infinity amazes me.

I relate infinity with these pieces first off because they are two sections of a piece on its own. Although the limitations of the internet made me place the two pieces side by side, In reality, if the pieces can be printed off on separate pages, and then there are innumerable positions angles and distances in which they can be placed, creating completely different balances on any size canvas.
Second, there is the obvious drawing of a horizontal asymptote between the two pieces with relation to an infinity that doesn't exist.
And an infinity that doesn't exist is what the black spaces were created for, even with their vastness and complexity (that is nearly impossible to see without digitally editing the picture) they end, they become nothing, they dwindle off into incomprehensible space that is nothing. They are reflecting opinions on the belief of infinity..

Even with what I believe, and what I want to make myself think of when I see the piece, I do not have a set description. People have to interoperate it however they like.

i agree about letting people interpret it how they please...it's my belief that upon releaseing a work, the artist gives it to the people, and it's no longer theirs, only the people's.

I like your concept...I don't incorperate math too often into my abstract paintings...i stick more to philosophy/life, but i really like your take on asymptotes...i never thought of them in that manner.

Thanks for actually responding...and responding thouroughly.
